Charles A. Gahres, Jr.

Charles A Gahres, 72, of West Lawn, died Saturday, October 12, 2024, at the Reading Hospital, West Reading. He was born in Ashland, Pa on October 29,1951 and was the son of the late parents, Charles, and Betty (Osman) Gahres. Charlie graduated from Reading High School.

He is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Julie Gahres. Charlie is also survived by his sister, Diane Weidenheimer; brother, Robert Bowers; nephew, Kenny Jr husband of Carrie Weidenheimer; niece, Jill Schott wife of Darren Schott; great niece, Reiley wife of Demetrius Young; great nephew, Dallas husband of Alyson Schott; great niece, Jaycee Schott; and great great niece, Zara Young.

Charlie will be deeply missed by all who knew him, especially his Pennwyn Motor Club Family and will forever be remembered in all of our hearts.

Funeral Service and Interment will be private. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
