David C. Schirmer

David Carl Schirmer Jr., 63, of Harleysville, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on February 14, 2026, at 7:00a.m. at St. Luke’s Grand View Hospital in Sellersville, PA.

David was the beloved husband of Nancy Schirmer, with whom he shared 41 years of marriage. He was a devoted father to Matthew Schirmer and Nicholas Schirmer, and a loving father-in-law to Melissa Schirmer and Jen Schirmer. He was a proud and deeply loved grandfather to Seraphina Schirmer, Aubriella Schirmer, Zoey Schirmer, Ava Schirmer, Owen Schirmer, and step-grandfather to Maria Bean.

David is also survived by his brother Kenny Schirmer, and his sisters Patricia Cumberledge and Christine Cumberledge. And all those mentioned above. 

David was a kind-hearted man who was always willing to lend a hand. He had a way of making friends easily and was known for his warm presence and generous spirit. He had a natural talent with computers and working with his hands—whether fixing cars, building things, or solving technical problems. He was also a skilled cook who took pride in the kitchen.

David was the sole owner of DNS Computer Repairs, where he shared his knowledge and skills with many over the years. Outside of work, he loved gardening, spending time outdoors, grilling, and experimenting with new projects and ideas. He enjoyed learning, creating, and staying busy—especially when it meant helping others.

David will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. His kindness, work ethic, and willingness to help will live on in the many lives he touched.

A private Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026 from 3 PM till 7 PM at the owls social club @ 315 Main st East Greenville, pa for family and close friends.
