We are sad to announce the death of Dorothy Helen (Nowakowski) Hannigan who passed away peacefully surrounded by her husband and children on April 5, 2025.
Dottie was vastly devoted to her husband Steve, her children and beloved grandchildren. She will forever be remembered for her fun spirit, laughter, and generosity. Forever giving us the gift of dancing, cooking, the love of cars, music, NASCAR, football and the beach from NY to NC. She also passed down a love for hands-on activities to her grandchildren, from baking cookies to reading books, crafting, dying Easter eggs, carving pumpkins, and, of course, sharing her tradition of giving $2 bills.
Dottie’s legacy of joy, generosity, and love will continue to live on in the hearts of her children and grandchildren; Meggan Kerber; Allyson, Seth, and Logan Larish; Jamison, Michelle, Jordyn, Sydney and Jackson Hannigan; Nicole, Brian, Owen and Jake Moscatelli.
In accordance with her wishes, there will be no public service. private family celebration of her life will be held.
For those wishing to express their condolences, they may be sent to Dottie’s daughter, Allyson Larish, at the following address:
