Garnet Richey Obituary

Garnet Richey, 65, Preston Rd., Wernersville, PA, passed away at home on Saturday August 29th, 2020.  

Garnet was born in Corpus Christi, Texas January 14th, 1955 to William D. Richey and Lillian (Grossman) Richey. 

He was a machinist by trade and retired at Bradley's Inc, Corpus Christi, Texas in 2009. When he was younger you would find him tinkering in the garage, always fixing things. He was determined to fix whatever project he was working on and never gave up until it was done to his satisfaction. Garnet was a kind and caring man, soft spoken and a gentle soul.  Everyone who met him instantly liked him. Later in life he enjoyed spending time with his wife Lisa and friends and family. He also enjoyed bird watching and wildlife He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother Jerry D. Richey.

He is survived by his wife Lisa, daughter Angela Almazan, son Jason Richey, sister Mary (Tony) Whitley, brother Jim J. (Elaine) Richey, granddaughters: Autumn Hensiek and Lillian Almazan, grandsons: Anthony Almazan, West Vella and Seth Peal.

Services will be held at a later date for family and friends in Corpus Christi, Texas
