William C. Baer

William C. "Bill" Baer, 91, of Muhl. Twp., passed away on September 24, 2023, after a brief stay at the Mifflin Center, Shillington, PA.

Born March 21, 1932, he was the son of the late Sarah C. Baer.

He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Sharon A. Baer; daughters Korie Sandridge (Larry), Kristie Zielinski (Matt), Denise Myers (Craig) and 4 grandchildren.  Bill was a graduate of Shillington High School and Kutztown Teacher’s College.  Bill served as a Sgt. in the U.S.M.C. during the Korean Conflict. He was incredibly proud of his service and considered himself a lifelong Marine.  He was an avid sports enthusiast and Villanova basketball’s biggest fan. He loved gardening, meeting up with friends and day trips and travel with his wife, Shari. He last worked as Tipstaff for Berks County Courts in 2021. Services will be private at the discretion of the family.
