Obituary

Kenneth R Weidenheimer Sr. peacefully passed away, surrounded by his family and good friend Rose Hessler, on June 23, 2022 in Hershey Medical Center following a short illness.

Born July 4, 1946, in Reading he was the son of the late George and Irene(Keiser) Weidenheimer.

Kenny was a retiree of Dana, he also worked several years for Reading Railroad prior, last working landscaping with his friend Vito Ninfo.

He was an accomplished bowler throughout his earlier years, loved to travel, and later in life found interest in leather working and design. He also enjoyed his time playing softball with Berks County Senior Softball League.

Kenny is survived by his son Kenny Weidenheimer husband of Carrie, Womelsdorf, his daughter Jill Schott wife of Darren, Myerstown; and three grandchildren Reiley, Dallas, and Jaycee.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be held Sunday, July 31, 2022, 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm at the Nicholas Stoltzfus Homestead, 1700 Tulpehocken Road, Wyomissing, PA 19610.
